3 - Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy (3-D CRT) is achieved by a unique computer driven device called multileaf colloimator or MLC that directs the radiation beams precisely confirming to the shape of the tumor . This will allow maximal amount of radiation required to control the tumor without significant radiation to the normal tissue, resulting in less complications.
